Zum Wein:
Die Cuvée rot von Villa Tabernus besteht aus den Rebsorten Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot und ein wenig Dornfelder. Der Wein präsentiert sich Rubinrot.
Kaum ist er im Glas geht’s auch schon los mit herrlichen Noten von grüner Paprika und schwarzer Johannisbeere.
Gleich hinterher rufen Aromen von Kubebenpfeffer und Lorbeer das Verfeinern mit Gewürzen in Erinnerung. Ein Hauch von Leder vollendet die Duftvielfalt.
Am Gaumen spielt die Cuvée aus dem kräftigen Cabernet und dem eher sanften, fruchtigen Merlot zu Höchstform auf und zeigt, was es hat:
Einen reichen Fruchtkörper mit gut integrierten Gerbstoffen. Faszinierende Fruchtnoten von schwarzer Johannisbeere auch am Gaumen, gepaart mit intensiver Beerenaromatik. Ein Wechsel von Kraft, Fülle, Weichheit, Samt und Leichtigkeit. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!
Korrespondiert zu Tapas, Parmaschinken mit Weißbrot und Olivenöl, Polenta mit Hirschragout oder auch Pfälzer Wildleberknödel mit Rotkrautsalat.
Ausbau:
Die Cuveé wurde für ca. 15 Monate im 500l Holzfass ausgebaut.
